Every single one would be an affordable housing unit, which requires residents to earn a salary under a certain amount. Renderings on file with the township show rows of connected townhouse-type buildings, referred to as "Willows at Monmouth Woods." The zoning board on Wednesday night heard the first chunk of testimony on the project along Route 34, proposed by developer TRG NJ V, LLC, an affiliate of Connecticut developer the Richman Group.
